How It Works
We make it work not just by cutting prices, but by driving every cost we can out of the system, and by minimizing the risk as much as possible.  Nothing comes for free, so if you want to save the money you may have to adjust some of how you buy.

Expanded Flower Variety
On the flowers list you'll find not only a good selections of the basics, but you'll find an expanded line of specialty product that you won't always see in our cooler.  It's expensive to speculate on novelties and dump product at the end of the week; you save with Mutiny because we order this product to fill orders in hand.  We don't chance dumping it - you pay less.

Pirates We Be
But then in truth, have you ever met a wholesaler who wasn't a Pirate?  We're really just a barnacle on the stern of Washington Floral - our cargo rides along as "excess capacity" on the WFS delivery trucks.  Keeps our costs low - why by a truck when we can negotiate cheap space on someone else's ship?  A true business shark would call this "leveraging incremental sales" and "fine market segregation."  We just call it smart pirating.

Unbundled Pricing
Our prices are unbundled.  Unencumbered of services you don't need.  You pay only for the services you want and need.  Prices listed are for will call at the warehouse.  Delivery is a flat $20.  Why pay delivery if you don't need it?

Advance Ordering
There are three easy ways for us to cut our costs of providing flowers: minimize the handling, take away the risk of stocking "speculation" flowers, and take away the costs of acquiring "specialty" stuff.  Mutiny Wholesale flowers are available on advance order only.  Availability sheets  generally show up Monday afternoon, and have a Thursday midnight deadline.  Sorry, but we can't accept late orders - the boat's left port by Friday mornings.

Limited Staff Support

Sorry swabbie - no alot of hand holding here.  If it's not online, we're not offering it.  No special orders.  Orders can be placed online, faxed to us, called in direct to Captain Jack or sent in to  your regular salesperson.  That part's up to you.
